Although DVDs and Blu-Rays are sometimes seen as outdated ways to watch video, there’s still a real demand for disc authoring. After years away from it, I’ve recently returned to creating discs and, for reasons I can’t quite explain, I still genuinely enjoy the process!

Using the famously fiddly (and snappily-named) TMPGEnc Authoring Works 7, I can design functional, great-looking DVD and Blu-Ray menus and layouts.

I can also transfer content from VHS or MiniDV tapes onto computer, helping preserve your treasured recordings. From there, your footage can be delivered on DVD, Blu-Ray, USB memory stick, or stored safely in the cloud.
