The wonders of green screen, overlay graphics and visual effects.
Green screen lets you put your subject anywhere without leaving the studio — saving time, money, and a lot of travel stress. It gives you total creative control, whether that’s slick backgrounds, bold visuals, or locations that don’t exist (yet).
I hugely enjoy green screen work, especially with clients who are new to it. Over the years I’ve used green screen compositing to allow my clients more interesting ways to tell their story. For a feature film I edited and provided post production services, green screen was critical when it came to keeping within budgets as it negated the need for some shoots to be on location. Instead, we used a nice air conditioned green screen studio!
The same software I use for green screen work also does a nice line in overlay graphics and animations. Good, clear, informative infographics can be so important when, say, promoting or explaining a new product.
